The Process Work Approach
Process Work, also known as Process Orientated Psychology, seeks to bring awareness to the background disturbances in our lives by unfolding the processes or dynamics that manifest in body problems, relationship difficulties, and internal conflicts to transform them into qualities we may well find helpful and necessary in our daily lives.
Arnold Mindell, the founder of Process Work, developed CG Jung’s work by including movement and body work into his therapeutic practice. The roots of Process Work also implicate ideas from Taoism and physics. Over the years Mindell and colleagues have developed the application of Process Work in many areas including individual work, small and large group and organisational development, conflict resolution and coma work.
