Worldwork

flowersWorldwork is Process Work applied to the wider community:  to problems in small and large groups, to organisational and world issues. The aim is to forge relationships and community from social tensions and conflict, to enhance team work, relationships.

I am involved in various community projects that bring a sense of democracy and social wellbeing for both the individual and the collective. I co-facilitate on Go Deep Scotland; a creative and collaborative project for communities to address social issues and co-create fresh ways forward. I volunteer at Bridgend farm in the community garden. It is perhaps my greatest metaphor for life, working together with the ever-changing seasons, growing and enjoying its fruits. I sing in Portobello community choir for many years, and when needed take to the streets to sing in protest demonstrations. In a world of greater violence and polarities, it is important to find spaces to explore our concerns for the environment and social inequalities with a sense of fun and discovery in our collective abilities.
